Excellent for human temperature & fever detection. The accuracy of your measurements may be affected by perspiration, hair, scarves..but you're good to at about ±0.3 ºC / 0.6 ºF.
The thermometer is also great for measuring object temperature, like food, room, and water temperature in the 32ºC ~ 42.9ºC / 89.6ºF ~ 109.2ºF measurement range.
