Arduino DUE is here!

The long awaited 32bit Arduino has been finally released!

The Arduino DUE is the newcomer microcontroller board in the Arduino boards family. It's the first board based on a 32 bit ARM core processor, the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 MCU, that improve all the standard Arduino functionalities and add more new features:

Microcontroller AT91SAM3X8E
Digital I/O Pins 54 (of which 16 provide PWM output)
Analog Input Pins 12
Analog Outputs Pins 2 (DAC)
Total DC Output Current on all I/O lines 130 mA
DC Current for 3.3V Pin 800 mA
DC Current for 5V Pin theoretical 1A, realistic 800 mA
Flash Memory 512 KB all available for the user applications
SRAM 96 KB (64 + 32 KB)
DataFlash 2 Mbit (250 KB)
Clock Speed 84 MHz

But there's another new product: The Arduino Official Starter Kit. This kit walks you through the basics in a hands-on way, with creative projects you build by learning, thanks to a selection of the most common and useful electronic components with a selection of 15 projects that start from a low complexity, in order to let you learn the basic of electronic, to a major one, using components that let you control the physical world throw different kind of sensor.

Once you have mastered this knowledges, you will have a palette of software and circuits that you can use to create something beautiful, and make someone smile with what you invent, that is the reason why you will find more components than the required from the projects of the book. Then build it, hack it and share it.
